The first round opens from 1 July to 28 July 2026, with $17.6 million available to support up to 500 sporting clubs across Australia.
Funding is expected to be available for projects that:
- Upgrade facilities with energy-efficient technologies, including battery storage
- Improve resilience to extreme weather events
- Enhance facility infrastructure to reduce long-term operating costs
