David Muir – CEO
David boasts more than 24 years experience in finance, business development and managerial roles with the last 12 years dedicated to helping businesses identify the most cost-effective way of reducing energy costs and emissions.
David is adept at diagnosing business opportunities and brings his experience leading cross-functional teams in completing large-scale domestic and international projects, to his role with DS Energy.
His commercial acumen and insight has seen David build a career developing and executing public and private infrastructure projects and initiatives.
David holds an MBA in Finance and General Management from the University of Edinburgh and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Outside of business, David is passionate about rugby union and is the Deputy President of Brisbane’s most successful rugby outfit, the University of Queensland Rugby Football Club.
Shane Kennedy – Chief Operations Officer
With almost 30 years experience working in the power and communications sectors, Shane has built an impressive knowledge of the industry and a strong reputation for delivering projects safely, on time and to the highest standards.
Key to Shane’s success has been his ability to acquire and retain knowledge, embrace new and emerging technology and his capacity to develop strong and enduring relationships with clients.
Shane is a straight forward communicator who believes the best customer service begins with setting clear expectations and outcomes of all deliverables so there are no surprises in project delivery or costs.
Astute at identifying and solving complex problems, Shane is passionate about developing and delivering solar energy solutions for commercial, industrial and residential clients.
Outside of business Shane is a passionate fisherman, mad Richmond supporter and an advocate for the benefits of MMA in helping young men and women build self belief to combat bullying.
All our dedicated site project management teams are fully licensed and trained first-aiders. All our Project Managers hold their CEC licenses and Electrical Licenses, with all site staff licensed and White Card checked. Site contracts and projects are managed by our site experienced management teams and we also have a dedicated fulltime Workplace Health and Safety Manager.
Administration of our business is led by a highly qualified team of professional personnel and uniquely in a business of our industry size includes a dedicated fulltime Workplace Health and Safety Manager.
